Nikolay Litau, 46, captain.
In 1992 he was the co-skipper of the English yacht Whiled
Goose, which was the first foreign yacht sailing from the
White Sea to the Black Sea along the internal waters of Russia.
From 1993 to 1996 he was the manager of the construction of
the yacht Apostol Andrey in the town of Tver. Nikolay Litau
is the author of the ideas of the two circumnavigations. Nikolai
Litau is a single Russian yachtsman, who is awarded the Seamanship
Medal and the Blue Water Medal.

Participated in the construction of the yacht, sailed
on board the yacht over the four Oceans.

Besides Nikolay Litay and Arkady Gershuni,
the crew of the yacht included the sportsmen, who took part
in the first circumnavigation: Alexander
Kireev, second mate, Moscow; citizens of Moscow: Alexander
Levin, a physician, and Roman
Smirnykh, a helmsman. They left the crew in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Instead of Alexander Kireev and Roman Smirnykh
the crew would be replenished by Anatoly Semenov, St.
Petersburg, Yury Zavrazhny and Victor Gomza,
the yachtsmen from Kamchatka. Dmitry Zyuzkov, Tver,
will replace Alexander Levin.
