The main characteristics of the Yacht.

The yacht "Apostol Andrey" has been specially designed and built for sailing in northern seas. The hull, welded from steel sheets, has facet lines. There are no usual ribs in the construction of the hull. Durability and rigidity are provided by the increased thickness of a plating (20 mm at the bottom) and rigidity of bulkheads.

The two masts – the mainsail (19 m) and the mizzen-mast (14 m) carry 130 square meters of sails. A subsidiary engine has 74 h.p. There are 9 berths, a galley, a shower, two toilets, tanks with modern radio communication and navigation devices. The yacht was built in the Rrussian town of Tver.
