Scientific Program.
Archaeological research (scientific
leader – V.Starkov, Ph. D. History, Professor):
- Search of the burial place of Peter Lassenius. Clearing
of remains, their examination and description;
- Search of the grave of physician Ivan Filatov at the
Ust-Olenek settlement, excavations and description of
the burial place. Restoration of the initial look of the
grave;
- Excavations and description of the trade settlement
of XVII – the beginning of XVIII; Extraction of the objects
of domestic life from permafrost. Preservation of finds
for the subsequent delivery to the Museum.
During the search work the participants
use the geological radar with a set of aerials and a quantum-mechanical
magnetometer. K.Smolnikov is the technical expert.
Forensic research (the leader – S.Nikitin,
a forensic medical expert of the highest category):
- Definition of the reasons of death of the members of
the Lassenius detachment;
- Identification of the remains of Peter Lassenius. Reconstruction
of the lifetime portrait of Peter Lassenius by the method
of plastic reconstruction (by skull);
- Additional investigation of the remains of Vasily Pronchishchev;
- Determination of the reasons of death of Ivan Filatov,
and restoration of the lifetime image by the method of
plastic reconstruction (by skull).
