TEENS WEEKEND CAMP
Questions and answers

How do you put together a team?

Each group includes 6-7 participants and one leader, who is constantly working with teens. We divide teens into age group: 13-14 and 15-17 years old.

What are you doing if a teen is afraid of heights?

There can be some problems with the obstacle course at 4-10 meters height. We try to persuade him/her but never force them. Our staff includes psychologists, who work on overcoming such fears.

Do I need to have some prior experience?

The program is accessible to everybody. Following the world tendencies, we developed the program so that it can be interesting and accessible even to people with disabilities.

Where will the meeting of the group (team) take place?

We recommend that the bus is used, at least to arrive to the Camp, as the teen will start to communicate with other children during the trip.

How can I come to the Youth Almaz center independently?

See the plan.

Can parents visit their children?

Certainly yes, in fact, we think that it is very useful. However, it is important not to interfere with the schedule. Parents can book comfortable rooms in the Almaz. One would need to arrange his or her visit with the coordinator of the Program in order to book your room and to receive a passing permit. The cost of the room may vary from 800 rubles to 1 300 Rubles. The cost of standard meals is 350 Rubles.

The main part of your Program is realized outdoors, but what will you do if the weather is bad?

If it is raining hard, the lessons are modified and carried out in the Lecture Halls. If the rain is just drizzling we think that such weather only adds to our Program. What’s important is to have dry replacement clothes and footwear.
