The organizers of the Expedition
– the Adventure Club and the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and
the Youth Politics of the Russian Federation.
The newspaper Rossiyaskaya
Gazetta, the largest Russian State periodical,
which celebrates its 20-th anniversary in 2010, is the Information
sponsor of the Third Russian Youth Expedition "On skis
– to the North Pole".
The aviation support of the Expedition was organized by the
Department of the Aviation of the Russian Federal Security
Service. The Aviation of the Russian Federal Security
Service was insuring the safety of the expedition of Matvey
Shparo and Boris Smolin to the North Pole during the Polar
night.
The Arctic and Antarctic expeditionary centre "Polus"
(the Association of the Russian Polar Explorers) received
the Expedition at the Barneo Station and provided support
by helicopters.
The Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia ensured daily
weather forecasts for the Expedition.
