Seven explorers spent several hours at the North Pole alone. Then an aircraft came and brought the base group: Leonid Labutin (senior radio operator), Feodor Sklokin (a coach), Georgy Ivanov (radio operator), Mikhail Deev, Alexander Shatokhin (reserve participants) and Vladiir Snegirev, the executive secretary of the Head Quarters. Now there were thirteen of them and they raised their mugs with spirits.
